Sybrandt is a portfolio manager focusing on absolute return and protected equity strategies at Methodical. He has gained his investment experience over the past 24 years working at large asset management firms such as Coronation and Old Mutual as well as at boutique asset managers.

Index fund management, structured investment design, portfolio hedging and managing equity funds with downside protection are all part of his resume.  Starting his early career as a qualified engineer, Sybrandt spent four years in the profession before completing his MBA and moving into investment management.
